Migration and Labour Affairs

This volume brings together 152 abstracts from the 1st International Conference on Migration and Labour Affairs (ICMLA-2026), held on 13–14 May 2026 at the University of Agriculture Faisalabad, Pakistan. Contributions examine migration governance, rural–urban mobility, changing labour markets, climate-related displacement, gender and youth aspirations, digital labour and artificial intelligence, occupational health, and the wellbeing of migrants and transnational families.

Alongside the research abstracts, the book includes institutional introductions, messages, conference teams and partners, participant lists, keynote speaker profiles, and the conference program. An indexed abstract list provides page references, and the 152 abstracts retain their original ICMLA numbers.
