Lumina Literati Publishing Policies
Copyright and Licensing Policy: The main priority of Lumina Literati Publishing (LLP) is the rights of authors and the integrity of published works. Authors maintain their copyright ownership but grant to LLP a publishing license for various formats. Each publishing agreement sets out in detail whether these licenses are exclusive or non-exclusive. For flexible use and proper attribution, Creative Commons licenses are employed by LLP. Requests beyond fair use must be made in writing. Digital Rights Management (DRM) technologies protect electronic content while LLP responds actively to copyright infringements.
Open Access Policy: Through Open Access publication, LLP seeks to give access scholarly and creative works freely around the world. Using Creative Commons licensing, LLP ensures that published content is transparently available for common use with individual copyright retention by the author(s). Waivers can also be granted on Article Processing Charges (APCs) whilst discounts are given to authors from low-income areas. Rigorous peer review maintains publication quality and digital archiving guarantees long-term preservation. In this regard, LLP assists authors in meeting funding mandates for Open Access so as to increase visibility, impact as well as public engagement of work(s).
These policies underpin LLP’s commitment to safeguarding authors’ rights, promoting wider knowledge distribution and maintaining highest standards of quality and integrity in publishing. Clear guidelines on copyright, licensing, open access benefit authors as well as readers making it possible for them work in a supportive legal environment when publishing their works
